(choose “Adults, both sexes” via the “View more Indicators” tab on the top left) interactive map and the Prevalence of Insufficient Physical Activity Among Adults Data by Country (Links to an external site.) dataset. Which countries have problems with physical inactivity? Please name five. How does the U.S. rank in terms of its physical inactivity? State: Examine the Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Obesity: Data, Trends and Maps (Links to an external site.) (choose your state, and select “Physical Activity” for category, and “Physical Activity Behavior” for Topic, as well as the most current year of available data). List the percentage of adults who do not engage in leisure time physical activity in your state. How does the CDC determine whether an adult is physically inactive or not (see Footnotes)? Individual: Describe your personal contribution to the physical inactivity prevalence rate for your county. Is your physical inactivity level below, at, or above the currently listed rate? Health Consequences: Assess two potential health consequences of physical inactivity or sedentary behaviors. Support your assessment with at least one scholarly source.
